Have you heard of well.ca? For all my fellow Canadians, it is a must-have website that will change your life! Well, maybe not but it is fantastic! It is an online version of Shoppers Drugmart- they have sales, they have tons of inventory ranging from vitamins to makeup to food, and they ship for FREE across Canada! How amazing is that?
This is my first order with well.ca. I searched 'well.ca coupons' on google and found tons of coupon codes to save $10 off your purchase! So I ended up getting free shipping AND I saved $10 off my order. I was very impressed with the fast service from well.ca and I will continue to use them. Check them out yourself- it's an easy way to shop for drugstore items online, and they have weekly sales as well as a wide selection of inventory, including tons of natural and organic brands.
I picked up some Cod Liver Oil capsules because I had heard from Courtney at Strawberree Swing that they greatly helped her adult acne. I also picked up a sweet mint eos lip balm, and well.ca sent me some free samples of toothpaste, mouthwash and laundry detergent!cute hand-signed thank you from the packer at well.ca! |
sweet mint eos lip balm ($3.99) |
The receipt that came with my well.ca package was signed by the packer, with a 'thanks' added. I thought this personal touch was lovely. It makes you feel like you're buying from a small business rather than a large faceless corporation. The eos lip balm matched my nails in the photograph, how hilarious. Many of you have previously reviewed eos lip balms so I won't go into too much detail about it, but I will say that it is yummy and minty but not that great at moisturizing- it doesn't last very long on the lips and I greatly prefer my Burts Bees lip balm and my LUSH honey trap lip balm (which is my all time favourite!). The packaging is novel, and I like that it is 100% natural. I will continue to use it but wouldn't purchase another one.
300 capsule bottle of Cod Liver Oil in lemon flavour ($39.99) |
If you are a fellow adult acne sufferer, you can check out some of my posts about other products I use at the moment to manage my acne, including Philosophy Hope in a Jar oil-free Moisturizer, LUSH ocean salt facial scrub, and tea tree oil. I will post an update on my experiences with Cod Liver Oil when I finish this 300 capsule bottle!
I would love to hear about anyone elses experiences with Cod Liver Oil or any other successful acne reducing products!

I have bought from well.ca , mostly makeup stuff, not the healthy stuff. But I'm pleasantly surprised by the fast shipping and customer service. How is the EOS lip balm? I heard it's very good.
ReplyDeleteyes it is a great little company! I will definitely be a repeat customer. The eos lipbalm is nothing special, but it is fairly cheap in price and it is pretty cute! I prefer a heavier, longer lasting lip balm personally. LUSH honey trap is my favourite.
DeleteI've always wanted to try eos. It's great that they're 100% natural too!
ReplyDeleteyou should definitely grab yourself one, they're pretty cheap!
Deleteohhhh please please let us know about the cod liver oil because i do have my bouts of adult acne UGH!! you know what's ironic i actually had really good skin as a TEENAGER! and yet as an adult i have random bouts of acne! GRRRR!!!!
ReplyDeleteyes I had fairly good skin as a teenager, sure I had pimples here and there but my skin took a huge turn for the worse when I turned 24 and I've been suffering for almost a full year now! oh the misery!
DeleteI love well.ca! I get my LA Art nail polish stripers from them! Such quick shipping even to BC!
ReplyDeleteyes I am a huge fan of well.ca now! I will continue to use them and spread the word about them, free shipping on any order size? how awesome! lol
DeleteYou read my mind. I've had acne since I was 13 and just this week started trying homemade treatments. Did an oatmeal mask two days ago, and a baking soda & water scrub this afternoon paired along with a new brand of organic face scrub from Walmart so I'll let you know how it goes!
ReplyDeleteplease keep me updated on your blog about anything you find to be successful! as I said- I will try anything at this point LOL
DeleteI always browse Well but have not ordered yet. Would love to know what the $10 off coupon code was lol You got some great stuff though I have to agree with you on the EOS... I like the packaging but as I found better alternatives it has began to go unused.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear how the cod liver oil works for you :)
hmm I cannot recall what it was but literally just google 'well.ca coupons' and TONS of coupon codes will pop up. its very easy to find one :)
DeleteI LOVE Well.ca!!!....I often get my parcels 1 or 2 days after I order it (it might have something to do with them being located a 30 min drive from me lol) AND they have amazing customer service if anything ever goes wrong!!
ReplyDeleteI really really hope this works for you :) We can advocate the movement together!!! lol
PS...That EOS lip balm is amazing! You need to "work it in" though for some reason before it becomes nice and smooth and balmy :)
Deleteyes I am a 45 minute drive from Guelph too, haha. its nice to have such quick shipping. I really hope the cod liver oil works well too!!
DeleteI'm so happy well.ca is getting more publicity. I've been using the site for a while and loooove it. It's so easy and the people are so nice!
ReplyDeleteApple cider vinegar has helped me (I buy Braags acv, put a tablespoon in a bottle of water and drink it each day). I am recovering from bad acne so I can empathize. Also, exfoliating weekly has really helped me. Something so simple yet I always neglected it.
I love exfoliating! I get dry skin from retin-A so I have to use facial scrubs. However, I have not tried aple cider vinegar. I will stick with cod liver and if I don't find it helps maybe I will try ACV! Thanks for the tip :D
DeleteSo I kept thinking about cod liver oil and decided to try it out too thanks to this post. Let's keep each other updated!! I added you on twitter. :3
DeleteYou can use both acv and cod liver oil! acv is amazing for everything, you can use it as a toner, conditioner..etc I just love the stuff! haha
I am following you back on twitter! I will pick up some ACV too.
