April Use-It-Up!

Wow, it is really May? Already? I better get cracking at the gym because summer is just around the corner!!  I feel like April just flew by.
I always look forward to seeing what products I've used up in the past month, and here is my April Use-It-Up:
Products I used up in April '12

LUSH Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly (100g): this sudsy jelly blob is so fun to play with in the shower, and it leaves a long lasting scent! It's very pretty as its packed with non-sticky glitter. Shower jellies are very economical- they last forever! I have back up's of this must-have product!

A Lemon & Pomegranate body scrub from Bath & Body Works that I've been trying to use up for almost a year now! I love my LUSH scrubs (Rub Rub Rub & Ocean Salt) so much that this one kind of sat unloved. It was okay, but nothing special and I wouldn't repurchase.

LUSH Narcotic Shower Gel (100g): this extremely runny, bright blue shower gel is meant to combat body acne. It was okay, but nothing special and I didn't notice it help my body acne. I wouldn't repurchase, but if I came across one for free I certainly would use it.

I used up a small fresh cotton scent from Bath & Body Works that I used as a linen spray to freshen up fabrics, similar to febreeze. It was nice, but not a must-have.
Secret Cocoa Butter Kiss was another little scent mist that I used up this month. I used it as room spray, and it wasn't a favourite scent of mine. I would not repurchase.

The AHAVA Mineral body cream (40ml) was a sample from my February Glossybox. It was a floral scented cream that I wasn't particularly fond of, but I wanted to use it up. It was fine, but nothing special. I would not repurchase.

In the back is a BED HEAD dumb blonde hair reconstructor that I have been trying to use up for years! I finally finished it off, and I would not repurchase.

Finally, my beloved LUSH Vanishing Cream moisturizer (45g). This was my favourite LUSH moisturizer, and I may repurchase it eventually but I am branching out in search of my holy grail of moisturizers, which it is sadly not.
I am excited to see all your empties from April- get posting!

  1. What was that? A shower jelly with GLITTER?? So I can feel like a princess even in the shower?! Eek! It's so nice to use up products that you've had forever isn't it? It's like this giant sigh of relief that the product isn't going to waste.

    1. definitely start keeping your empties! I have found that since I started saving my 'empties' it has actually made me more goal-driven to use up products before opening new ones :)

  4. Oh my gosh you went through all these in a month?!?! I feel like I must have a miniscule head because it takes me forever to use up facewash/shampoo/etc!

And I will definitely be looking into this shower jelly :) I'm such a little kid in the shower - so jelly blobs sound perfect :P

  10. This post is such a great idea...too bad I never finish what I've started. ;) That said, I hated the Secret stuff too...but I still have it and once in awhile use it as room spray as well because I don't have the heart to throw it out. I forgot to say I am an extremely guilt ridden person. :P

    1. I hate throwing things out too- I will usually try to give them away to someone else rather than toss them. It seems so wasteful otherwise!
