NEW LUSH UK RETRO Products are out!

LUSH UK just put out some new retro products, and I may or may not have made a purchase! Expect a haul post in 1-2 weeks! I love that LUSH UK does a rotating retro line that introduces new products every month! It is a little dangerous for any LUSHies wallet, but the prices in the UK are actually usually cheaper than the North American LUSH. Shipping from LUSH UK to Canada or the States is  £ 9.95, which actually isn't that outrageous being as it is coming from overseas. It is insanely easy to make an online order from the UK site- they even have a comment section where you can make requests for samples if you so please! They accept paypal which makes for easy international purchases.

And now, on to the main event-- new RETRO products available online only (limited quantities):
Business Time massage bar (£4.25/each): like all LUSH massage bars, this bar will melt at body temperature. To use, you simply rub the bar along your body and massage in. This one is scented with rose, lavender and fennel, and it supposed to smell like Handy Guru, which is not one of my favourite LUSH scents. It is very earthy.

Deep Sleep shower jelly (£4.95/100g): if you read my posts, you'll know I am a fan of LUSH shower jellies! They're so fun and unique. Deep Sleep has lavender, chamomile and neroli which are meant to relax the senses before bed. I am not sure if I'll like this scent, it could go either way.
Heavenly Bodies buttercream (£4.95/100g): I have always wanted to try LUSH buttercream! I have heard nothing but great things about these soft, non-lathering soaps. Described as a chocoholics dream, Heavenly Bodies is made with cocoa and vanilla absolute, tangerine and sweet orange oils. Buttercreams are supposed to be ultra moisturizing, and this one contains rhassoul mud (deep cleansing) and toning orange juice! Buttercreams are apparently made for people with sensitive skin- they're very soothing and non-irritating.
Marathon bubble bar (£3.25/each): made with mustard seed oil, olive oil, myrrh, benzion and olibanum, this spicy scented bubble bar is made to relax aching muscles, hence the name. I think the combination of ingredients sounds gross- this one isn't for me!

Waving Not Drowning bath bomb (£2.60/each): this is a classic bath bomb that actually hasn't been discontinued for that long. It is a sleep-inducing bath fizzy, made with lavender, ylang ylang, cardamom and fennel. It is supposed to relax the user and make them ready for sleepy time!

What do you think of the new retro? Are you going to place a LUSH UK order? I can't wait for my shipping notice! :)

  2. looks like some great retro products. i think it is so cool that lush does this from time to time. i understand as a company you cannot keep manufacturing all of your products especially when there are so many new ones being created, but it is nice to know that they really listen to their customers and offer the discontinued products from time to time. sadly one of my favorite products - a food scrub, i forget what it is called - as well as a foot mask (vpied de pepper) have been discontinued :(

    xx rae

pop by if you have a moment, dear!

    1. Lemslip? that was a reformulated buttercream that was more of a bar soap, alongside ring of roses. This new retro is an old-school formulated buttercream! I cannot wait to try it!!

    1. yes! a lot of the products in the UK are way cheaper than the prices on the NA site! it's ridiculous- especially anything that comes in a black pot (moisturizers, shower smoothies, scrubs etc).
