Products I've been loving by CoverFX, BareMinerals, LUSH

Today I thought I'd do a quick blitz post to share a few products I've discovered or re-discovered lately that I've really been loving for my day-to-day routine!
CoverFX BritePrepFX primer (note: sent for me to review) and ClearPrepFX anti-acne primer
1. Primers from CoverFX. I have two primers from CoverFX, their BritePrepFX which has SPF 50, making it perfect for the summer months, and their ClearPrepFX which is meant to leave your skin matte and combat acne. I love CoverFX primers because they go on very lightweight and once they're on, you don't even notice they're there! I first fell in love with the ClearPrepFX when I received a sample of it from Topbox! It really does leave my skin looking fabulously matte!
bareMinerals Matte SPF 15 Foundation in Fairly Medium

 2. bareMinerals Matte SPF 15 foundation in Fairly Medium is the only foundation I use. As you can guess by the product name, it also goes on matte, leaving my skin with a faultless finish. This mineral foundation is also incredibly light on the skin and will not feel heavy and cakey as the day wears on. I will note that if you have any dry or flaky patches, this foundation will definitely make them obvious, so you need to exfoliate well to use this foundation. Otherwise, it is great as it doesn't make me break out, looks natural on the skin, and is easy to apply! I love mineral foundations!
LUSH Seanik Shampoo Bar (note: sent for me to review)
3. LUSH's solid shampoo bars are amazingly convenient for travel, and they're a huge money saver. This one smells particularly delicious, as well. Seanik is a mineral-rich, sea salt volumizing shampoo bar-- and I am all about the volume when it comes to hair care! It has seaweed built right into it to make your hair extra soft, but also contains sea salt to give great body and volume. It smells really good- it reminds me of the scent of LUSH's Rub Rub Rub shower scrub! I would say this shampoo bar is very popular amongst LUSH hair care lovers, and I now know why! It leaves your hair smelling lovely, feeling light, silky and clean! I love solid shampoo bars due to their eco-friendly and wallet-friendly nature as well! You can also read my review of another LUSH solid shampoo bar, Gentle Lentil, by clicking here!
LUSH Dirty Springwash (note: sent for me to review)
4. I have always been a fan of LUSH shower gels- they lather amazingly, they smell fabulous and the scent actually lingers on the skin after use! Dirty Springwash is no exception. This minty shower gel has spearmint and menthol crystals in it, giving your skin a cooling sensation in the shower. This shower gel is part of LUSH's men's line, but I totally love this and agree with them in that it is truly a unisex scent. I personally adore mint, and I've used this shower gel as a shampoo with great success too!
LUSH Shine So Bright -- for split ends
5.  Lastly, the LUSH shine so bright hair serum for split ends has been perfuming my hair for a good little while now. LUSH says it is meant to repair split ends, but I haven't really noticed any changes on that front. However, it does calm my hair down, and it smells really lovely, once again like LUSH's Rub Rub Rub shower scrub!
So there you have it, some products I've been loving lately! Have you discovered (or re-discovered) anything new?

  4. I tried a LUSH shampoo bar once and hated how it made my scalp feel...but I'm on the lookout for a new volumizing shampoo (I just use it on my roots) - Seanik definitely sounds worth trying out - thanks for the review!

  5. That shampoo bar sounds so interesting, I was staring at it for a minute before scrolling down to see what it was, haha. I don't use mineral foundation anymore and when I did I didn't really 'observe' it like I do with makeup now, but it's good to see it works out for you. The primers sound great too!

  6. I do tend to favour mineral foundations over liquid ones as well. I feel like my skin is happier when I use it. I have yet to try a Lush shampoo bar yet! I still have a sample of Trichomania to try. Do you wet the bar and then rub it all over your head?

    1. I don't actually wet the bar, I wet my hair and then rub the dry bar over my wet hair, making it lather. It gets wet from the shower stream, of course, but you shouldn't purposely put it in water because it might dissolve quicker! Seanik lathers a lot more than Trichomania will.

  8. That mineral foundation sounds really promising! Except that my skin has been on the dry side lately, so I might have a few issues with that. But I've been meaning to try a mineral foundation for a long time, and have heard lovely things about bareminerals :)

  9. My mom uses the bare minerals makeup and she loves it. I am still stuck on Clinique. I have sensitive skin so I'm afraid to try anything new. I love mint body wash as well. Who says mint is only for men?!

Thanks for sharing on Marvelous Mondays! I hope to see you at next week's party. :)
