I'm so excited for Canada Day weekend too! Unfortunately I'm stuck working all weekend, but I should be able to make it out to a concert on Parliament Hill on Canada Day evening (Feist, Simple Plan, Jully Black, and others are playing)
ReplyDeleteVery cool! I am going to see Death Cab and Tragically Hip in Niagara! I was lucky enough to get it off work :)
DeleteCongrats on guest blogger status!! I also cannot live with out the Julep cuticle oil and a good primer
ReplyDeleteSarah
glad to know I am not the only one loving Julep's cuticle oil! I love the scent too, its herbally but in the best possible way!
DeleteWill probably do the parade & fireworks here... I hope you have a great time at the concert!! Great products.. I can live without my a good moisturizer, cuticle oil, lip gloss, Peel So Good & organic apple cider vinegar for my toner!
ReplyDeleteI am really going to look into the ACV to use as a toner!! Thanks for the tip.
DeleteOOOO how exciting to guest blog for them! I love all the products especially the pink facial scrub. need to get my hands on those!
ReplyDeleteI know, I was so flattered when they approached me to do a guest blog- it is very exciting! the pore cleanser is such a simple but excellent tool! haha.
DeleteOh I just read your guest post love it:) I'm also a big fan of Lush's Ocean Salt it's an amazing and smells so fresh. I wish we could get Cake beauty products in Ireland, the product you mentioned sounds great xxx
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, LUSH's ocean salt is one of my HG products- I could not live without it! Cake beauty has such great things- I wonder if you could get some on ebay perhaps?
DeleteGreat post! I love that you highlighted Canadian made products. I wish I loved my Boxx cream corrector as much as you did. I have a different shade and it just does not look good on me (it's a very pale lemon yellow - and while I'm pale, I'm not THAT pale).
ReplyDeleteI love Canadian made products, and when they're natural or eco-friendly on top of it, I cannot support them enough!!! I really lucked out with my boxx cream corrector- I got my perfect shade! sorry yours isn't right :(
DeleteI read it and you are soooo right about the julep oil, I have one and I am in love! I noticed a HUGE differences with using it for a month.
ReplyDeleteYES! I don't know what all they put in there, but it really helps with keeping your nails looking gorgeous!
DeleteI love the Julep oil! Great guest post!!
ReplyDeletethanks love <3

Deletei want to try that mascara :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on getting to do a post for the topbox blog! That's so great (although you of course deserve it!) Great post :)
ReplyDeleteLoved your must haves post! Right now I am loving the Lush Coconut Powder in my shoes! My feet stay so nice and dry in the warmer weather! My birthday is actually on Canada Day so I will be celebrating that!
ReplyDeleteohhhhhhhhh excited i LOVE Cake products they smell so delicious hahaha!!
ReplyDeletei speak very basic german.. but my husband is almost conversational at this point! so it's pretty impressive.. but that's also why i probably haven't made it a goal to learn more than my few phrases hahaha. wahhh haha
the bad gal lash mascara is amazing!! xo
ReplyDeleteBadGal is the best mascara ever. I am always tempted to try other brands, and I aways end up disappointed and coming back to it. I buy the mini tubes, though. I find that the large tube dries up really quickly and I end up wasting a lot of product. I'm also intrigued by the Cake dry shampoo.. It's colored? That's genius. I've been using dry shampoo in a can and it's awful. Time to upgrade, I think.
ReplyDeleteUseful information shared. I am very happy to read this article. Thanks for giving us nice info. Fantastic walk through. I appreciate this post.
