Here is their lineup:
Ghost shower jelly ($14.95): scented of orchid infusion, jasmine and ylang ylang, this florally shower jelly is white as a ghost!
Twilight shower gel (price ranges depending on size): scented of lavender and tonka, I have yet to try the shower gel version of this iconic bath bomb, however I am absolutely in LOVE with this scent and cannot wait to try it out.
Something Wicked This Way Comes bath melt ($6.25): this melt will keep you silky smooth and smelling of ginger and jasmine.
Jacko bath bomb ($5.95): scented perfectly for fall, this happy little bath bomb smells of cloves, cardamom and spearmint.
The enchanter bath bomb ($6.25): this bomb will keep your mood bright with lime oil and neroli.
Magic bath bomb ($7.50): a cult classic, this bomb is a must-see. It will turn your bath water into a masterpiece while scenting the waters of basil and peppermint.
Pumpkin soap ($6.95): to compliment the Jacko bath bomb, pumpkin pie lovers will be head over heels for the pumpkin soap, which smells of cloves, cardamom and spearmint.
Calacas shower jelly ($4.95): Scented like the cult favourite Lady Catrina soap, calacas shower jelly is in the shape of a skull! It is scented with neroli and lime oils.
Witches Ball bubble bar ($6.95): if you're a fan of herbal scents, you'll love Witches ball! It has peppermint, rosemary, sage oil, parsley, cranberry and star anise!
Now that you see the lineup, how excited are you for Halloween? I can't wait to get my hands on some of these amazing items !

Ok so I've never tried any lush products before... I know shocking! But I want to ask you what are your absolute favorites so I can jump on the lush bandwagon?! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteooooh such a tough call. I am going to copy and paste an email I sent my good blogger friend, Jayne, a while back:
Delete"firstly, do you take baths? LUSH has a fab bath line, with everything from melts to moisturize, bubble bars to fluff up your bath and bath bombs to infuse your water with fragrance and essential oils.
Obviously scent is a really personal thing, I like sweeter scents and shy away from earthy scents. When you're in the store, just sniff things out for yourself and see what you like.
For lotions, if you have dry skin you need to try Dream Cream! It is lightly scented (mostly lavender) and amazing for dry skin. I quite like Sympathy for the Skin as well (I did a review post on it!).
I highly suggest you get a body butter if you're at all into exfoliation. Buffy is the classic go-to, but King of Skin might be better for you if you have dry skin. Body butters are literally solid squares of scrubby moisture that you take in the shower and rub all over yourself. They're very cool. My personal favourite one is You Snap the Whip but it is also the harshest.
You need a Lemony Flutter! It is a cuticle butter that is yummy and lemony and makes your hands and cuticles so soft! I also use it on my feet (goodbye calluses !). Before bed I lather it on my feet and then put socks on.
If you are at all interested in a dusting powder/powder deodorant, the Coconut deodorant is my absolute fave! If you like coconuts, you will sniff it and probably have to have it. They also have a wide perfume range in store, but I am not a fan of their scents. Most are very earthy.
DeleteI am not a fan of LUSH facial cleansers. I haven't found one that works for me. LUSH will give you a decent sized sample of anyTHING in store, you just have to ask. I would suggest asking them for suggestions on skin care and getting samples of a couple cleansers. The same thing goes for their moisturizers. I personally love the Vanishing Cream moisturizer. My sister has quite dry skin and she loves the Skin Drink moisturizer. I love the Tea Tree Toner and use it daily, as well as the Ocean Salt exfoliating cleanser which is a must have product for me.
I am not a fan of LUSH haircare in general. I find it can be very drying. They don't use silicones in their conditioners, and my hair likes silicones even if they're not the best for your hair. The only shampoo bar I personally use by LUSH is Trichomania, which smells like coconuts and is very moisturizing. I would suggest their solid shampoos over their liquids. It seems like LUSH SA's like to try to push the hair care on me every time I go there! I've tried tons of samples of their liquid shampoos and don't like any of them. Plus their hair care is VERY expensive.
You have to get some LUSH bar soap! I love it. I have a stock pile. Soap is a personal thing, so pick which ones smell best to you. They will cut you a piece in any size you want, just say "I want five dollars worth of this and this and this" and they'll do it for you. They will have pre-cut pieces already made up but sometimes they're too big or too small. My personal faves are the Godmother, Sultana, Rockstar, Porridge and Demon in the Dark.
I like LUSH showergels but I like them just as much as Philosophy's (and they're around the same price). They're nothing out of this world, but smell them and see if any interest you. I usually only buy their Retro (online only) shower gels, or Snow Fairy at Christmas time. I will suggest Rub Rub Rub shower scrub though! It is a staple for me. Definitely check out Sweetie Pie shower jelly- its only 5.95 for a 100g tub of it and it'll last you forever!
They also have fresh face masks in store! I love these little tubs. They only last 3 weeks though, so you have to use 'em up fast! There are tons, talk to a SA and get a consultation to pick which one is best for you. I love Catastrophe Cosmetic and Cupcake but they're both for acne prone skin. If you return 5 empty LUSH pots, you get one free!
The SA's can be pushy at some locations, or just overly annoying and enthusiastic. Some people shy away from that and avoid LUSH because of it. Just smile and say something like "I'm just browsing. If I need any help I will come find you, thank you!" Hopefully they'll get the picture and leave you to shop in peace until you have questions or need samples to be made up!"
Thank you so much for all your help, I actually have an idea of what to get now! Your blog is amazing by the way!!!!
DeleteHalloween Lush stuff is so exciting defiantly going to get my hands on some ghost!
ReplyDeleteI know, I am such a sucker for all their season products!

Lipstick & Lace
I know it's early.. but can you do a post about christmas gift ideas for different people/women (eg. moms, aunts, grandmothers, god mothers, etc..) In my family, we have a 'tradition' where the children get gifts but once they finish school and start working full-time, the gifts stop. So I thought it would be nice to switch roles and give my aunt/godmother something. But I just don't know what she could want. I'm thinking of giving her a jar of my favourite bb cream (M.Asam Magic Fini), but want to explore other ideas as I'm not good at this gift giving thing for family... Any suggestions??
ReplyDeleteHmmm now you got me curious about that Magic Bath Bomb! I never knew LUSH had special products for Halloween!
