Regina Pierallini Jewelry: My Order has Arrived!

A while back, I mentioned that I had ordered some Regina Pierallini Jewelry. Well my package finally arrived! Coming in a little bubble wrap packet, the items were carefully packaged and made the trip from NYC to Ontario safely.
My goodies in their packaging!

Veronikas Mother of Pearl Stud Earrings ($38.00)

I am very pleased with the quality of the Regina Pierallini Mother of Pearl earrings. They're very pretty. I will note that they hang low on the earlobe- the post is located at the very top of the clover, not the middle of the earring.

Turquoise Enamel Crown Shape Open Clover Flower Necklace ($68.00)

The clover necklace is very lovely to look at, but the quality is not as great as I was expecting. On my first day of wearing it, one of the links broke and the entire necklace fell to shambles. I would expect a higher quality for $70.00! I was able to mend it back together, but it was upsetting since I hoped the price point would reflect the quality of the craftsmanship. On top of this, the gold clovers look to be made of a cheap material, and I expect them to tarnish quickly. I had read other reviews stating that Regina Pierallini jewelry tarnishes, but they were older reviews and I had hope that her quality would've improved.
A lovely handwritten note from Regina Pierallini!

Close up of the gold clover
I am not sure if you can see the detail in the above photograph, but the gold clover looks to be made of very cheap material that might flake or tarnish quickly. Not what I was expecting for $70.00!
Overall, I am pleased with my purchases- the earrings are gorgeous and well-crafted. The necklace leaves something to be desired and I would not repurchase another necklace with this make from Regina Pierallini at the current price point, but I will enjoy the one I do have! I still think the necklace itself is beautiful and eye-catching, I just wish the quality was a bit higher to reflect the price I paid for it!
If you want to purchase from Regina Pierallini jewelry, there is a 15% coupon code: VERBLOG15. You can check out Regina's Artfire site to see her clover line.

  1. That necklace is gorgeous! But, I'm with you...I don't think it's worth $70!

  2. The jewelry is beautiful! Love the mint colour on the clovers. Based on the quality though, I wouldn't expect it to be $70!

  5. I, too, received my order ( I got the same necklace and earrings as you plus the rose gold sideways cross necklace). I was expecting a little bit better quality of the necklace too. A little disappointing but since I love the mint color so much lately, I know I will wear it a lot. Sorry to hear about one of the chains broke. I have read reviews (of course, after my purchase) that the quality is not that good.

    1. I am looking forward to your review post! It is a shame that the quality in both our purchases was not overly impressive, but at least the jewelry is beautiful and will be well-worn for however long it lasts!

    1. I love your optimism and I agree- I hope that I am wrong and it doesn't tarnish! I am still a little sad that it broke on its first wear but I will be extra careful with it from here on out and hopefully it won't continue to break!

  7. Love the pieces you chose. I would be equally disappointed if that happened to me. $70 is quite a lot to pay for costume jewelry and the last thing you'd expect is to have it fall apart the first time you wore it :(

If I were you I'd contact the store/owner as I'm sure they'd want to know that it happened and that you're not 100% satisfied.

    1. I actually did have a conversation with the seller, but it didn't go the way I'd have hoped.

    2. :( That's too bad. Well, at least you know moving forward to avoid buying from this designer..

  8. That necklace is divine! It's to bad that it broke so quickly, though! I've paid much less for something from ALDO or Forever21 and they're still in fantastic shape almost a year after I purchased it.

Is it possible for you to have the product exchanged? The retailer should definitely send you a new one because your experience reflects badly on the quality of their products.

    1. I did speak with the seller but there was no offer of an exchange. It is a very pretty necklace though, isn't it? I was able to mend the links and I can still wear it, I just hope it doesn't continue to fall apart!

  13. Awww man, I'd be pissed off!!! I'm angry FOR you. I love this necklace, but knowing this I would never spend that much for it. I would be mad if I spent $10 and that happened. Not cool at all. :/

  14. Oh geez, that's too bad about the necklace...a lot of the time this type of jewelery is just a base metal that's plated so you can slow down the discolouration and preserve their lifespan if you keep it in zip-locked baggies. For $70, I would have expected more myself and especially when the markup up on jewelery ranges from 50% - 80%. You'd think that the makers would use some of those margin dollars to better the quality of their product.
